Measure the width of the piece you need to cut by holding the length of siding against the window and marking the edge points on the panel with a pencil. Installing vinyl siding around windows. Install siding around windows. Also if the windows are of different sizes it gives the contractor a chance to make some custom changes so the window will fit properly.
