Windward Iv Ceiling Fan Remote Not Working

I have a 54 inch hampton bay windward ceiling fan with remote and lightkit that stoped working.

First thing you need to do is to follow the remote button reset instructions in the manual that came with your remote control. I decided to swap the bulb with one of my other windward fans to test it and it tested ok however the other good bulb didn t work in the bad fan either. Changed batteries in remote not the problem. At first the fanspeeds went haywire then the lights flickered a couple of times now its dead all together. Changed the wallswitch not the problem. This will activate the light for 30 seconds if you are using dimmable bulbs the light will be activated at 50 brightness.
